However, once configured, the routing is usually bound to the Dante terminal itself and does not proactively determine which room the device is currently located in. When a speaker is moved from one room to another, the corresponding relationship between its access port and MAC address will also change.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The VINGLOOP switch reports this change to Q-SYS Core via API, and the system can then identify the room where the speaker is currently located based on this information.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Q: How does Dante routing automatically complete the switch?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This solution is accomplished collaboratively by the VINGLOOP switch, Q-SYS Core, and Dante Director.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The VINGLOOP switch is responsible for sensing terminal position changes; Q-SYS Core is responsible for processing the mapping logic among rooms, ports, and audio sources; Dante Director is responsible for executing the final audio routing switch.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When a speaker connects to a new room, the VINGLOOP switch reports the port and MAC address changes to Q-SYS Core. Based on presets, Q-SYS Core determines the target audio source and issues a new routing command to Dante Director via API. The same logic can be extended to scenarios such as mobile decoders, temporary conferencing equipment, divisible meeting rooms, and teaching spaces. When the network can sense device locations, upper-layer software can further link audio, video, control, and management systems.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An open API, combined with appropriate control logic, enables originally independently running systems to begin collaborating.
