VINGLOOP was born with these three questions.
The development of Ethernet switches has evolved from stand-alone devices to software-defined by SDN/OpenFlow, and then moved towards the cloud, integrating with the Internet of Things network, with a focus on management and control anytime and anywhere. These technologies have also experienced at least 10 years of mature development to this day.
In Ethernet network applications, the explosion of audio and video traffic has rejuvenated the Ethernet, deviating from its previous application characteristics and developing an alternative route featuring PTP clocks, multicast, and QoS as the main functions.
After many manufacturers’ exploration and development in the global market, the AV-over-IP network has been endowed with an exclusive UI, special protocol linkage, and diverse management modes. This has paved a superhighway for the development of IP audio and video.
In 2025, the year of the AI boom, a large army of privately-owned AIs led by DeepSeek emerged, making it possible to upgrade traditional cloud-based AI + cloud-managed switches to privately-deployed AI switches.
In view of the maturity of these technical capabilities, VINGLOOP combines ProAV, cloud, and AI to answer the three questions we raised at the beginning:
1. AV-over-IP networks deserve switches empowered by AI. In the future, a local AI brain will be needed to set up and define local AV-over-IP networks for everyone. The hardware of switches will become less important, mainly responsible for high-performance data forwarding.
2. The IP network will be set up, monitored and adjusted by AI. A large amount of network management data converges to the AI brain, enabling the collection, sorting and analysis of terminal data, and then decision-making.
3. Integrating the best of AI software and hardware production, VINGLOOP will combine with domestic R & D forces in Hong Kong, enter the international market, and go global together with many ProAV manufacturers.
Specific to the hardware of the switch, relying on the powerful performance of Chinese chips, we will be able to provide high – cost – performance access of 2.5G PoE++ and 10G SFP+ interconnection. At the same time, we will provide ultra – high – performance cores of 25G SFP28 and 100G QSFP28 to provide HA load for the entire AV – over – IP. All hardware devices will come with an AI Agent, which, together with the AI agent, will provide a new – generation network for the entire audio – video network.
